Accessibility statement

MySafeOps is committed to making our website and web application accessible to as many people as possible, including users with disabilities. This statement covers mysafeops.com and the MySafeOps web app.

1. Our aim

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA where reasonably practicable for a small UK SaaS product. We know we are not perfect yet; this page explains what we do today and how to report problems.

2. What we already do

Semantic HTML landmarks (header, main, footer, navigation) on public pages
Skip links to main content on the marketing site, blog, documentation hub, and signed-in shell
Keyboard focus styles and visible focus for many interactive controls
Text alternatives and aria-* labels on common UI patterns (dialogs, loading states, form fields)
Responsive layout for mobile site use on construction projects
Legal and help content available without requiring sign-in

3. Known limitations

Some areas are still being improved, including:

Complex data tables, maps, and drawing/plan editors may be difficult to operate with keyboard or screen readers alone
Some third-party embeds (for example payment flows or security checks) are controlled by their providers
PDF exports and printed RAMS/permit layouts are designed for paper/site use and may not be fully tagged for assistive technology
Colour contrast and touch targets are not yet audited on every screen

We prioritise fixes that block core tasks (sign-in, permits, RAMS, inspections) when reported.

4. Technical standards

This statement is based on self-assessment and ongoing engineering work. We have not commissioned a formal WCAG audit or VPAT for the whole product.
